Requirements for Registered Nurse RN, Emergency Department

  • Please note that this role is not located in Idaho. You’ll be working in Spokane, WA. You must be willing to drive to the location in Spokane, WA
  • Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as an ED RN within the last year.
  • APRNs who apply must have recent bedside experience under RN scope of practice.
  • Strong ability to use independent, critical judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery.
  • Competency in current emergency room evidence-based practices such as sepsis & stroke care protocols as well as familiarity with conditions such as severe lacerations or burns. 
  • Strong familiarity with caring for Behavioral Health patients including patient de-escalation techniques. 
  • Trauma and triage experience preferred, but not required.
  • Current RN license and good standing with the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
