Position: Inpatient Pre Op RN

Required Education and Credentials

• Must have current unrestricted Oregon RN license and be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

• Current AHA BLS certification. 

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as an inpatient Pre Op RN in the ambulatory surgery setting and/or acute medical-surgical unit within the last year.
• Strong assessment and IV skills are required. 
• Strong familiarity with surgical, procedural and anesthesia consent forms, preoperative medications, and Universal Protocol measures. 
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with quick patient turnover.
