Position: Inpatient Progressive Care Unit RN

Requirements for Progressive Care Unit RN:

  • Current RN license and good standing with the California State Board of Nursing.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications will be required prior to first shift. 
  • Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a Progressive Care Unit RN within the last year.
  • APRNs who apply must have recent bedside experience under RN scope of practice.
  • Must have strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, current working knowledge of ACLS guidelines as well as assessment skills relating to a variety of conditions/diagnoses. 
  • Strong familiarity with titration of common drips following facility protocols.
  • Must show competency with managing tracheostomy patients on 24/7 ventilatory support. 
  • Strong familiarity assisting during central and arterial line placement and para/thoracentesis.
  • Experience with managing care for Level 1 trauma patients is preferred, but not required. 

Rates are subject to change without prior notice and are driven by the marketplace and facility needs. Assigned rates fall within listed ranges.
