• Current CA RN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• LA City Fire Card required.
• ACLS may be required prior to start date. 
• Minimum of 2-years of full-time experience as an Operating Room RN (most recent experience within the last year).
• Must be very comfortable and competent with open-heart and major vascular procedures.
• Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
• Strong familiarity circulating multiple specialties.
• Must show competency with reviewing procedural consents, safe patient positioning, expert knowledge of universal protocol, experience with establishing and verifying surgical supply/instrument counts, and experience setting up and assisting with various operating room equipment.
