Med-Surg/Telemetry Nurse in Cudahy, WI (Per Diem Shifts)

CareRev is looking for Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) to pick up hospital shifts in Cudahy, WI. In this role, you will care for adult patients recovering from surgery or managing acute illness, many of whom need continuous heart monitoring. You will complete patient assessments, give medications, watch cardiac rhythms on telemetry, and respond quickly to changes like arrhythmias. You will also work closely with physicians and the care team, update care plans, and help patients and families understand what comes next. • Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an inpatient Med Surg RN (most recent within the last year).
• Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
• Must be competent caring for patients on telemetry monitors, identifying basic arrhythmias, and interpreting EKG strips.
