• Must have completed a state-approved Medical Assistant program.
• Current AHA BLS and MA certification.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant within the last year.
• Must show competency collecting specimens, performing blood glucose testing, and obtaining and documenting vital signs, intake and output, and weight.
• Experience providing medications per facility guidelines and under the supervision of a licensed medical professional.
• Ability to provide comfort and support of patients and assist with plan of care under supervision of a licensed medical professional.
