This shift is open to local Wisconsin residents and those that reside in surrounding states only.

Requirements

  • Must hold Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) license within the State of practice.
  • Current AHA BLS certification. ACLS may be required prior to the start date.
  • Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a Respiratory Therapist (most recent experience within the last year).
  • Able to provide basic and advanced respiratory services including: medication administration, arterial puncture, breathing exercises, initiation, monitoring, and discontinuation of oxygen therapy, and assisting with intubation.
  • Must be competent working with common inpatient respiratory equipment including mechanical ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and nebulizers. 
  • Knowledgeable of code protocols and participates in the Code Blue and Rapid Responses.
  • Experience setting up and managing Nitrous Oxide is a plus!
